Just yesterday I stopped into the most delightful little food shop in Yverdon called La Ferme. It means “The Farm” and they specialize in local products: meat, cheese, eggs, vegetables, fruits, oils, pastas, etc. In other words, it’s a white-person heaven. In the check-out line I fell for a classic last-minute-purchase gimmick, the free sample. [...]

I can’t help but giggle each time I see this advertisement in the Yverdon train station. Brilliant marketing. For you non-french speakers, it translates to: The secrecy in the banks may be wavering. The secrecy of our cheese holds (remains) true. On a political note: Dear IRS, Please stop picking on Switzerland.
